Temple of Marquis Wu

The temple, surrounded by pines and cypresses, was built to commemorate Zhuge Liang, a famous statesman and strategist in the Period of the Three Kingdoms. Zhuge Liang settled in NAnyang after the death of his father. Through work and dedication, Zhuge Liang meticously studied politics and economics, becoming an advisor to Liu Bei, who later became the king of the Shu Kingdom. As the most renowned statesman and strategist in the period, he commanded many famous battles and in recognition of his dedication and loyalty, the noble title of "Marquis Wu" was bestowed upon him.
